Going from 2 older dogs (12 & 14) to a puppy is daunting! I was a hot mess, I needed training! VIPet Services, Theresa rescued me! Phineas (8 month old Teddy Bear) and I signed up for the 6 week beginner class. In the first class, I learned how much the dog reacts to my "level". If I am stressed and wired, Phin will react in the same way. Phineas's classmates were: 1. well-behaved but skittish Skye 2. Louie, a sweet rescue 3. Zeus, a cute Frenchy that loved to jump in the air 4. Phineas, my clown. Skye's Mommy was the youngest and best trained. The rest of us were pretty clueless. On Graduation Day, we all had made great strides! Even though our classes have ended, we need to "apply" the many tools Theresa gave us. She assured us, that we could call with questions. VIPet Services offers additional levels of training in a class setting or private lessons.

We took our 3 year old cocker spaniel to the 6 week class. He would not heel on walks, always barked and jumped on people and other dogs. Theresa gave us great instructions and tips to help us encourage our dog to be his best. She spent time with us working on our specific needs, such as handling distractions. Very happy with the trainer and the class! Our dog made tremendous progress and we all are much happier. I would recommend VIPet Services.

We had the pleasure of meeting Theresa Goodman a couple months ago. We had gotten a mini Golden Retriever puppy 3 years ago. I needed some forced exercise and thought she would be the answer… After she got out of the puppy stage, I thought her bad walking habits would change. Unfortunately, they didn’t. She was pulling uncontrollably, smelling every blade of grass and picking things up to eat that she shouldn’t. I did what you are doing right now, looking at reviews to find a reliable dog trainer. Look no further. We chose to send her to Theresa’s Boot Camp. We knew that she’d be completely focused, when being trained by a professional. Theresa kept us in the loop with pictures of her progress. You could see she was becoming a more manageable dog. We can now take her anywhere dogs are allowed. Theresa came to our house a couple weeks after camp, as a follow up. Tess immediately remembered her. It was evident to Theresa that we had kept up with the training procedures.
