Katrina is truly amazing! She had an instant rapport with my dog Zoey. After only 2 short visits I am communicating on Zoeys level. Not only has this helped with training, it has also improved my relationship with my dog (which was already great!)

Katrina helped me and my dog Aloha tremendously over the course of 6 months. When we started one--on-one training in June 2021, Aloha was 1.5 years old. She is an Australian shepherd with high energy and a love for her "herd" but had problems meeting strangers or anyone outside of those who have known here since she was a puppy, even though she was socialized with people and dogs all throughout covid time. Specifically, Aloha would ask for pets by approaching someone and signaling that she wanted physical touch and attention. Then suddenly she would snap and bark as if a switch had been turned. Kat helped teach me and Aloha how to manage Aloha's insecurity and build confidence that not everyone is a threat. I was unable to bring people into my home without first taking them to the dog park to meet Aloha (where you were instantly and permanently added to her "herd" if you met her around other dogs). Now, I have had strangers in my home and Aloha knows she doesn't need to approach them and can disengage from a situation that I think would have lead to trouble for her a year ago. She has better house manners, better recall, and it has improved my relationship with her! Thank you VIP Dog Sports!!!
Katrina is wonderful to work with. My boisterous 1-year-old lab and I have learned so much from her. Thanks to her guidance, we’ve built a strong bond and have gained important skills. I look forward to taking him on walks in public now!
