VENTOSA K9 LLC

My name is Evan Sokolove. I recently attended a Tracking Seminar and 6 week K9 training school/class with my K9 Daisy. I work in Security in San Jose, CA. Prior to choosing Ventosa Kennels, I conducted over a years worth of research of K9 training centers and programs all over the United States. Due to my work requirements, we were looking for a facility that provided a structured training program, a dog match that would work well for the public sector security work I preform specifically in regards to the Public Relations aspect of my job, and most importantly a company that had a track history of being honest and fair in their business dealings. While California is quite a distance away from Scotland Neck, NC where Ventosa is currently located, after consulting with numerous other training facilities I ended up choosing Ventosa. From the first call I placed to the conclusion of 7 full weeks of training, Ms. Bowling (owner of Ventosa Kennels) and her amazing staff (Mike, Justin, and the team) have been knowledgeable, experienced, and welcoming to me and my agencies needs ! After 7 weeks of tracking, drug searches, and obedience, my Black Lab Daisy has not only surpassed state standards but surpassed National standards upon testing. I feel like family now 2 months later and can not thank Ventosa enough for all of their hard work with me and my K9 Daisy and hope to purchase another K9 in the near future !

I just completed the 6 week basic handler course. I was blown away by the great training I received at Ventosa! My partner is a single purpose narcotic detection dog. I was exposed to several aspects of training from tracking through the 5,000 acre plantation to the large warehouse where they conduct narcotic hides in simulated bedrooms, offices, and 15 different vehicles they have on property.
