VanNuil Canine

I highly recommend VanNuil Canine! I have been training with Kellie for over two years and have learned so much from her. I knew nothing about nosework and very little about competition obedience before starting at VanNuil. Kellie makes it fun, yet challenges us to grow and stretch ourselves. She is passionate about teaching both the dog and handler, and she consistently goes the extra mile for her clients. My dog looks forward to class each week and is a well-rounded happy dog because of the time invested in training at VanNuil Canine.

My dog and I have been training with VanNuil Canine for a few years and couldn’t be more pleased! We started with zero knowledge about scentwork and now we are competing very successfully and feel so solid in being prepared for all the trials we enter. Kellie is knowledgeable and always working to improve her students and herself as she develops her own judging skills and shares her experiences with her students. Classes are fun, challenging and appropriate to all levels, beginner to advanced!

I will ALWAYS recommend Kellie / VanNuil Canine! I have been taking group scentwork classes with my dog for quite a while and am SO impressed with Kellie’s knowledge in all things dog related. She always has helpful tips for everything, both in scentwork and just general training. She is extremely dedicated to her students (humans and dogs!), as well to the training, showing, and wellbeing of her own dogs. I also think that I am so thankful to have Kellie and the community of friends that I’ve gained through group classes. If I ever need private lessons VanNuil Canine will be my first choice!

I have been working with my border collie for the past year with Kelly on scent work. I am new to all dog sports since getting my first dog in 20 years. I have found that with Kelly's help, I have learned a lot about scent work, training, and in truth, a lot about reading my dog. Our bond as a team has strengthened through this process, and I have more confidence as a handler and trust in my dog's abilities.
