The Valor K9 Team is top notch! However, I want to highlight Samantha. My brother's young Coonhound, Max, was coming to live with us. Due to my brother's illness, Max did not get the proper attention a young hound needed around the basics - like walking on a leash - properly. I reached out to Amy, explained Max's situation and found an opening with Samantha. Samantha took Max from Ground Zero to a very well-behaved dog with tools he needs to succeed - in three weeks. Samantha's Training gave Max a chance at living his best life with our other Four dogs. Samantha's passion for training - a focused, thorough, but gentle method had turned Max into a gentle wanting to please dog. Thank you, Samantha and the Valor K9 family! Using Valor was the best decision I ever made. I rescued a young Belgian Malinois and needed help to make sure I trained him correctly. We signed up for 8 weeks of private lessons. Trainer Samantha was the best! She structured our lessons to fit both my dog and me. She was always positive and upbeat and willing to modify technique to make it easier for me to understand. With everything she taught me, I now have the tools use to be able to have an enjoyable training relationship with my dog and a well behaved dog.

I couldn't be happier with my experience working with Samantha & Valor. My dog, Buddy, made so much progress and I got tons of photo and video updates throughout his board and train which put my mind at ease. Due to the training style and technique, Buddy is just a much easier dog in every way now. His improvements to his confidence, leash walking, listening, sit, stay, and just being OK with doing nothing has been incredible. I was also given a thorough follow-up plan which has been very helpful. I would highly recommend Valor to anyone with a dog.

If you're on the fence about whether or not to take or dog to a trainer or more importantly which trainer to take them too, like my wife and I were, do not hesitate to reach out to Valor K9. We placed our ten month old Belgian Malinios with Samantha for the four week board and train with the ultimate goal of improving her confidence, socialization, speed up her obedience and build on both her quality of life as well as our own. Samantha more than delivered and we simply could not be happier. What we dropped off with Samantha was a high drive, very intelligent Belgian with low confidence and some anxiety. What Samantha delivered at the end of training was a far more confident dog with the obedience skills to continue to build on the confidence at home. What meant the most to my wife and I were the instructions that we were sent home with at the end of training so that we could continue to build on what Samantha started. Now that we've reached the stage of post training that I can take Tikka on field trips again, we get compliments literally everywhere we go on her behavior, obedience and calm nature. Car dealerships for oil changes, retail stores, local parks, and downtown, we get stopped everywhere and asked how we were able to get such great results in such a young dog.
