When I got my Mal, Mako, he was a timid and terrified boy. I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to correct his behavior so he could have a fun and enriched life. Valencia K9 academy helped us to fulfill Mako’s full potential. We did the private lessons package and with Sergio’s help we unlocked Mako’s drive and helped him overcome his fears. I was able to take Mako on vacation with me which is something I didn’t think would be possible. Scheduling was easy and convenient and prices were very affordable. Sergio was very knowledgeable but also respectful of my own experiences and preferences when training my dog. I have also used his boarding services and he sent me videos and kept me up to date on how my boy was doing. He also exercised his which was more than what most boarding facilities do. Valencia K9 academy was the best choice I made when helping my boy. I will definitely use Sergio’s services for any of my future training/boarding needs.

Being a second generation dog trainer, Sergio is knowledgeable, dedicated, passionate, and super hard working! You really couldn’t meet a better person who is completely committed to the dogs and clients! He is so happy and enthusiastic all the time and he wants to see everyone succeed and be the best dog and owner they can be. I only trust Sergio to care for my dogs when I am away and he always goes above and beyond! I really can’t say enough good things about him as a trainer and a person!!

Dundee is a miniature Australian shepherd and ever since we brought him home Sergio has been there with a substantial amount of information and guiding us through training! We boarded and trained Dundee to clean up and hone in on a few imperfections and the precision and obedience he displayed in such a short amount of time was astounding! Dundee is full of life and an energetic pup and Sergio is so caring towards him, Dundee is always happy to see him! The knowledge that Sergio displays is prominent not only in training but in many other ways! There is no one we trust more with Dundee, if you're looking for great trainer with great knowledge I highly recommend Sergio!!!
