We brought our little girl home at just 3 months old. Immediately enrolled her in dog training with one of the best trainers in the valley! She had learned a few commands and has been trained very well on how to walk while on a leash. Dan had taken the time to work with us and educate us (the parents) on proper leash training. We highly recommend Dan’s services. Our girl absolutely LOVES going to see her best buddy!

Dan is the absolute best dog trainer and friend to dogs I've ever met. In Hawaiian, the use the work "Kahu" instead of "owner" for pets; Kahu means guardian, protector, and shepard. In my opinion, no one is a greater Kahu than Dan at Vail Dog Training. There is no one else I trust more with my animals for training, puppy pladates, or boarding. You absolutely cannot go wrong with DOGtor Dan!

Dan has been such a resource for me and my husband. I have had dogs my whole life, but Yuki is my husband's first. Dan was a huge help in getting US trained to guide Yuki in her life in the mountains. He is super responsive and knowledgable!

We got our now two year old Bernadoodle, Banks and started his training with Dan within a few weeks.
Dan came to our home for a few sessions and then met us at a nearby park for training in a very distracted riddled location. This was priceless training not only for Banks, but for us as well.
We then took a month vacation and left Banks with Dan for further training.
Again, this was another decision that has led us to having "THE BEST DOG EVER!"

Dan knows dogs! No doubt about it. He works with big dogs and little dogs and lots of doodles 😄 and they all come away the better dog because of his skill and energy. I will post a video of puppy palooza and just listen. Many dogs no barking! And what a perfect setting to socialize your pup.
