V3 Gun Dogs & Canine Academy

My dog, Mochi, is extremely reactive towards people. It stems from her fear and lack of confidence. It took her a few weeks to warm up to us, not even to mention our friends whom she would only see a few times a month. After the 4 week onboarding training program, Mochi came home like a new dog. She is more confident and able to be in the same room with other people. Its still a journey for her to overcome her fear with continuous training, but she has gone a long way. Highly recommend if you are looking for a dog trainer in CT. Thank you Jeremy for your help and guidance! Update: I wanted to update the review so that everyone can be aware. During the training period, Jeremy was proactive and maintained good communication. But after training, it was really hard to schedule training sessions with him. He owed us 4 sessions in total, first two was ok. But the third one, I had to chase him down for a date and he canceled it last minute. He still owed us the fourth one, to this day, I’ve never got a call back or an explanation about it. Many times he said he would call but i didn’t hear back. So i gave up. He trains the dog well, but might not be the best at handling business. Sorry he lost a customer

Mike at V3 in Willamantic has been working with us with our cane corso we rescued. Jeremy evaluated him for over an hour and they came up with a program for him. We did 3 week board and stay plus 5 more days and are finishing with 4 private lessons in May. These people know what they are doing! Mike is great and very caring. He loves training and is not afraid of a challenge. Our dog is progressing well. My wife and I will do Mikes group class in May. I’m confident that Cooper will become the best dog he can be and we will become great also. This is our sixth dog and he is a challenge, no way we would get him where we want him without Mikes help.

Prior to V3 Zucc had issues with obedience and dog aggression. In under three weeks of trainings with V3, Zucc not only follows commands given, but moves with a purpose. Zucc no longer needs to be told repeatedly basic commands or to do basic things. Prior to V3 Zucc was unable to be in the same room as any dog. Now, he can be in a room with several dogs, and has learned to control his anxiety and aggression. The V3 team was incredible with Zucc and took no short cuts. They were very informative with their 1 on 1 trainings and care for the dogs as if it's theirs. V3 continues to assist with any questions and or new concerns and has helped us to gain trust in Zucc. V3 is the best of the best
