V3 Gun Dogs & Canine Academy

We were having an incredibly hard time with our 3 year old Akita who lacked obedience and was showing signs of aggression. We had been turned away by other trainers and were feeling hopeless. That’s when a friend recommended V3. The 4 week aggression board and train program with Chewy completely turned things around. We feel safe and in control again. Our pups entire demeanor has changed. She is calm, cool and collected, which we never thought was possible. Chewy was great and is truly passionate about what he does. He constantly kept us in the loop with pictures and videos so we knew she was in good hands. When it came time to pick our girl up, Chewy was extremely thorough and made sure we left feeling confident and comfortable handling our dog. I highly recommend V3, especially if you are dealing with aggression!

After trying out multiple dog trainers with no success, I was recommended V3 Gun Dog to help with my 3 year old Akita with aggression, anxiety and stubbornness. We got linked up with Jeremy’s aggression Trainer, Chewy and I could not be more impressed with how she came back to us after training with him for a month. She has 1000x better obedience, can be around dogs / people in social settings, she doesn’t pull on the leash, she doesn’t have anxiety anymore, the list goes on. For any Akita owners or any aggressive owners out there that have lost hope with their dogs, Chewy at V3 will restore your hope! (The video below is a great example of how much of a different dog she has become. We were not able to dry her off / de-shed her with out her running off or going crazy. She stayed seated for 15 minutes without moving.)

Can't say enough about Jeremy and V3 Gun Dogs. We rescued our little guy three years ago and while he did ok for the first two years, in the last year he was definitely showing signs of nervous anxiety and after growling at friends of ours and showing unwanted behaviors we needed help. We are so grateful that after three weeks with Jeremy and his crew, our dog, Gibbs is doing so well. We now take him to Home Depot where my husband can put down the leash and he stays exactly where he is told. (Check out the photo). The command of "place" has also been extremely helpful. Once he is on "place", he doesn't come off until he is told to. We are now working on inviting friends over and Gibbs has been on his best behavior. What I really appreciate about V3 is how knowledgeable Jeremy is regarding the psychology of dogs. He understands them not just on a training level but on an innate level and that is gold! Our anxiety regarding inviting people over has been greatly reduced and that for us has made a huge difference in our home. If you are struggling with unwanted behaviors from your dog, we cannot recommend Jeremy and V3 highly enough.

I highly recommend working with Jeremy and V3 Gun Dogs & Canine Academy. The training both myself and my dog have received is top notch. V3 fully understands and appreciates that each dog is different and can require varying approaches to training. They set you both up for success with their methodical approach and communicative nature. My dog has been to V3 for both one on one training sessions and for multi week board and training. During the board and train Jeremy and V3 keeps you in the loop during your dogs stay, providing updates and photos on their progress. When it comes time to pick up the dog, they outline areas to focus on training methods to use at home. Through working with Jeremy and V3 my dog has developed a high level of obedience and become a great upland bird dog. We brought our 11 month old GSP Loki to V3 for obedience/ off leash. We did a lot of our own training/ puppy classes, but he was still out of our control, and now we have a 3 month old baby at home, we needed help. Jeremy and Alexis have not only made Loki obedient both on/ off leash, but his entire demeanor is improved. I don’t know how they did it, but he went from being a scattered and unmanageable dog in the house… always finding trouble, and being destructive… to now being calm, and living in harmony with us rather than feeling against us. Our communication is just working so much better! Another major piece of this was off leash on trails, I am a trail runner and couldn’t manage Loki’s range, he was getting too far and I couldn’t keep him in control, I also couldn’t control him when we saw other people/ dogs. Now I can run off leash with him in heel AND let him run free with confidence that I have the tools to let him hunt around and be a dog while still having control and keeping him safe. So excited to have the tools and confidence to now bring our dog with us everywhere!
