Utah Bird Dog Training provides professional bird dog and obedience training in Payson, Utah, backed by nearly 20 years of experience. We train retrievers, pointing dogs, and family dogs through structured board-and-train programs, from puppy foundations and obedience to advanced upland and waterfowl training. Our goal is to develop reliable, confident dogs that perform in the field and are enjoyable to live with at home. We work with dog owners throughout Utah and across the West.

We have two 10-month-old Bernedoodles who are inseparable but also show aggressive behaviors towards each other, creating a power dynamic we didn't know how to manage. Not to mention, they are completely distracted by each other, making it hard to get their attention. We opted for just the obedience training. I personally don't bird hunt but trusted that the obedience is the foundation of a good bird hunting dog. After their training, I was in shock with how much more responsive they are to their commands. Ian is extremely personable and communicated well with my wife. Even after we picked them up, they assured us that we could reach out with any questions, big or small, and they would be happy to help us work with our pups. We couldn't be happier with the results of their training and was well worth the investment.

I will always send our dogs for training to him and his team!
I've sent 2 dogs to Tyce over the last 3 years. I'm amazed everytime I pick them up by the work that Tyce does with the dogs. I have zero complaints and recommend Utah Bird Dog Training to all the friends and family. Tyce has my business for life.
Great guys and could not be happier with my experience. Our lab had a few bad habits with dropping the birds, and not finishing her retrieve. They fixed that issue and Im hoping to get her back with them to finish her out with blinds. These guys know what they are doing!
