Let me start with how we got here: my 3 kids spent months campaigning for a puppy, and because I wanted us all to be more active, I agreed to get a sweet baby golden retriever….but instead of the mellow-nap-in-the-sunbeam kind, we ended up with a field line golden, a crazy energetic tornado living in our house. Enter Bird Dog Training. After 2 months they managed to work some kind of magic and we now have a dog who listens. My kids were worried he would turn into a robot who just sits in the corner following commands. They were happy to see he’s still a big goofy puppy, but his ability to do what we ask makes him 1000 times more manageable and we are a much happier family for it. 10/10 would totally recommend, and if they ever expand their business to include obedience training for children, I might know someone who’s interested 😆

My husband and I got our first Gordon Setter puppy back in February. A week into having him we knew he’d need a lot of patience and dedication to training. So when we found out about UBDT we realized that it was the perfect solution. After researching and asking all of the questions like “will he remember us when he’s done with training” or “will his personality stay the same” we decided to jump on the obedience training. Well, now that he’s back it seems kind of silly that we even had those worries because our puppy is the same funny, goofy and loving dog; just obedient and easy to manage now! We were stoked to watch the trainer run through the commands and see the major improvements that were made. He listens to the commands, respects the boundaries and can still have a little fun BUT be reigned in as well. The obedience training was awesome and we wouldn’t have done it any other way. We can't say enough good things about Utah Bird Dog Training. We sent our golden retriever for 2 months for behavior training, and the experience exceeded every expectation. Tyson and Orlen were absolutely wonderful with our dog. It was clear from the start that they genuinely cared about his wellbeing, not just his training. When we picked him up, they didn't just hand him back to us — they spent ample time walking us through all the commands he'd learned, making sure we understood how to reinforce his training at home. The transformation in his behavior was incredible. If you're looking to invest in your dog's training and give them the best possible foundation for a happy, well-behaved life, this is money well spent. We couldn't be happier with the results, and we're so grateful to Tyson, Orlen, and the whole team for the care they put into our pup. Highly recommend to anyone considering this investment for their furry family member!
