We adopted a six month old pit/terrier mix and after a couple of months he started getting into absolutely terrifying fights with our other dog (involving clamping down on his face and refusing to let go). He was also just badly behaved in general (and got banned from daycare!). We had seven sessions with Gallivan and we started seeing improvement immediately- both in our dogs behavior and in our own. He has a regimen for owners to go through and handouts to help you understand the what and why. Our dog is now a pretty well-behaved little guy (with occasional slips, of course, but we now have the tools to continue helping him improve). It was a situation where we were not sure we'd get to keep this little guy we had grown to love and now, thanks to Gallivan and what he's taught us, we can! A knowledgeable professional who clearly loves his job and dogs in general. Cannot recommend him enough.

I usualy do not leave reviews but this company really deserves one. Mr Burwell was our mini dachshund puppy trainer. He is a great trainer with extensive experience and knowledge of dog breeds. He was really patient and caring with our puppy and was able to teach many useful comands using positive training methods. He really shines above other trainers and I recommend him without reservations!

Gallivan is the best dog trainer around! We had a special needs dog and he helped us with reducing his anxiety and dog aggression. For our current dog, Gallivan worked with us transform a wholly untrained rescue into a dog that will be obedient on the street in front of other dogs.
