5/5 stars and more with Rachel! We had a very serious situation with our dogs and she swooped in to help us and save the day for our family. She's understanding, non-judgmental and very experienced and great at giving the humans the tools necessary to help their pets. She has a knowledge of dogs that most likely 100% of the human race does not and she relates to dogs on an unparalleled level. We'd very highly recommend Rachel to anyone with a canine issue. Rachel is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to animal behavior, whether that be dog, cat, or bird. She is kind and will listen and work with her clients to find the best solution for the animal and household, unlike many trainers in the area who just throw shock collars at all their clients. She assisted with my fearful, anxiety-ridden, high energy dog who adores her. I would recommend Rachel to anyone who is looking for help with basic training and getting to know their dog as well as those with difficult behavior cases that many other trainers won't touch. A+++

A friend from work recommended Upswing to train our rescue pup. He was extremely reactive, nervous, and unsocialized. Rachel's approach to training is very holistic and focuses on giving our good boy coping skills to better manage new people, traveling, and being left alone. No shocking.
