Our experience with Unleashed Unlimited has been exceptional. Paul and his team really understand how dogs think and behave. The training has been very effective for our dog (and us). The facility is large, comfortable and immaculate. After the free consultation, we signed up for the Play and Train package. The results have been above our expectations. She is willingly obedient and happy to please. We can also take her out without worrying about how she will react with other dogs or people. To keep her safe, we signed up for the Snake Avoidance training so she's not at all curious about snakes. At the end of the program, our dog is safer and happier; so are we. Thank you, Unleashed Unlimited!

We recently completed the Play & Train sessions and had the best experience start to finish. We have a shy stubborn dog and were worried about the initial evaluation (went really well) and then dropping her off to play and train. She LOVED the stay and train days. She came home super tired (in the best way) and made noticeable improvements in her training each time. The private lessons were highly focused on what WE wanted to work on. Usually areas we were struggling with. I appreciated that it wasn’t just a checklist of commands to work through. After each session we received an email detailing what we’d worked on and how to continue at home between lessons. The best thing we learned was “place”. It’s so helpful to have a spot where we can have her stay in place while we answer the door or make dinner or need a break from our high energy dog. Overall great experience and very reasonable cost!!! I also loved following the instagram page seeing cute pics of our pup.

First I want to give a boost to Unleashed Unlimited for their professional establishment and training. I don't usually leave reviews but in this case I had to. This post is directed towards the review by "TB" on Google or "Byron" on Yelp. Since the name changes by platform, I will address the substance. It’s difficult to take this review seriously when so much of it demonstrates a fundamental misunderstanding of what snake-aversion training is intended to accomplish. And especially when many of us that were there at the same event endured this person and their dogs. We have been doing snake aversion with this trainer for years now and he is top notch. The repeated insistence that his dog is a “hunter” who “shreds and pulls apart frogs or small field mice” and “loves to rip apart small prey,” followed by his assumption that this somehow means the dog should immediately recognize a snake as something to attack. That is precisely the kind of assumption that can get a dog seriously injured or killed. Prey drive is not snake awareness. Bragging that your dog shreds frogs and mice, then lamenting that “rabbits are just too quick for her,” is a truly dumb flex. That isn’t superiority. That’s unchecked prey drive. One day, that dog may pick the wrong target- a snake that strikes back or a dog that has zero interest in playing prey. That dog fight could end very badly and his review is up here as proof of how it has not only been going unchecked but he glorifies the behavior. Noted & Screenshot. The reviewer also appears to have arrived with his own predetermined theory of exactly how the dogs should behave, what they should be paying attention to, what they should associate with each stimulus, and what constitutes a “teachable state.” When the dogs did not react according to that script, he concluded that everyone else must be incompetent. At several points in the review, he confidently tells what his dog supposedly thought, smelled, noticed, failed to notice, and associated with a correction as though he had access to the dog’s internal monologue through some sort of hidden datalink. There is also an extraordinary contradiction in criticizing handlers because a dog resisted moving on leash while simultaneously presenting that same dog’s uncontrolled predatory behavior toward wildlife as evidence of the owner’s superior understanding of canine behavior. You might not agree with every training method, and criticism is fair. Writing an extremely long review filled with insults such as “inept,” “zero dog skills,” “snake oil,” and “theater” does not transform personal assumptions into professional knowledge that you don't have. Here is the perspective of someone who was actually there so I'm not going against Google policy. I have brought trained dogs to this same trainer repeatedly over the years while these sessions have been offered at Unleashed Unlimited. Each time it has been professional. And yes, I remember this particular individual quite well. In fact, he left quite an impression on several of us who were there that day. although perhaps not for the reasons he would like readers of his review to believe. Since he has chosen to publicly characterize everyone else’s competence and behavior, some context about what someone present actually witnessed seems appropriate. Big claims. Poor showing. Basic commands? Clueless. Missing. Leash manners? Also missing. Confidence? Surprisingly fragile. Complaints? Absolutely endless. He spent considerable time telling everyone within earshot how exceptional his dogs were. And yes, despite all the speeches about superiority, his dogs sniffed other dogs’ butts just like everyone else’s when they weren't invading others space. Anyone considering snake-aversion training should research the purpose and methodology, ask questions, and decide whether the approach is appropriate for their dog. We love this trainer, his methods and the Unleashed Unlimited set up. They brought up accusations of “performative theater”, the most theatrical part may be the review itself.
