Duke our German Shepherd mix was trained and boarded at UnleashedK9. Our dog Duke was trained for three and a half weeks by his trainer Anthony. Who is a fantastic trainer. He treated Duke with a firm hand and patients. When we came to pick up Duke after his session he was a different dog and for two and a half hours Anthony took time and patients with us and trained us how to continue Duke's training at home. Their communication during the time was in training was excellent. We received report cards and videos of Dukes progress. We highly recommend taking your dogs to Unleashed K9 of MN

We can’t thank Kenneth and his team enough for what they did for Juno during her 3-week board and train. The transformation has been incredible. We took her to Scheels yesterday — it was extremely busy with tons of people and dogs everywhere — and Juno was an absolute dream. She ignored all the distractions, held her heel perfectly, and was probably the best-behaved dog in the entire store. We were honestly so impressed. It’s clear how much care, consistency, and expertise went into her training. Thank you again for giving us such a confident, well-mannered girl. We are beyond grateful!

5 Stars – (If I Could Give More, I Would!) I cannot say enough amazing things about Unleashed K9 of Minnesota and their 3-week board and train program. My 1-year-old Dutch Shepherd, Willie, went in with a long list of behavioral issues, and he came back a completely transformed dog — while still being the same loving, goofy boy we adore. Before training, Willie struggled with: • Constant leash pulling • Counter surfing • Poor recall • Not listening • Chasing our cat • Bad manners overall • General chaos energy To be honest, I felt overwhelmed and unsure if we’d ever get him where we wanted him to be. After just three weeks, the difference is unbelievable. Willie now walks politely on a leash, comes when called, respects boundaries in the house, leaves the cat alone, and actually listens when given a command. The structure and obedience he gained didn’t change his personality — it refined it. He’s still playful, loving, and full of life — but now he’s controlled, respectful, and a joy to be around. Anthony was my point of contact throughout the process, and he was phenomenal. He clearly understands working breeds and knew exactly how to communicate with Willie in a way that built confidence, trust, and obedience. He took the time to explain everything to me and made sure I felt confident handling Willie when he came home. The follow-through and support were just as impressive as the training itself. As someone in law enforcement who has worked alongside K9 partners, I can confidently say the level of obedience, responsiveness, and structure Willie came home with is on par with what I expect from working dogs. That says a lot. The consistency, clarity, and accountability built into this program are the real deal. This program was absolutely worth every dollar. The cost might feel like a big investment upfront, but the long-term payoff in quality of life — for both me and my dog — is priceless. Our home is calmer, our walks are enjoyable, and I feel proud of my dog instead of stressed. If you’re on the fence about doing a board and train, especially with a high-drive breed like a Dutch Shepherd, this is your sign. It works. They care. And they deliver results.
