Unleashed K9 Academy, LLC

We took Whiskey to another trainer a year ago. She came back better but still had issues with reactivity. We did more research and found Unleashed K9 academy. We watched Derek’s videos and read his posts. We were intrigued and contacted Derek. We video taped Whiskey’s behavior and he said he could definitely help! We were so excited! Our family loves to be outdoors and go camping. It’s been hard to take Whiskey as she was so reactive and we needed her to understand that her behavior wasn’t ok. We took her to Derek for the two week board and train. We got a video from Derek a few days into the training and we couldn’t believe what we saw! She didn’t react to other dogs! What?!? This couldn’t be what we were seeing!!! When we went to pick her up we were amazed! She did react more when we had the leash but Derek took the time to show us how to correct her behavior. I’ve never had a trainer spend so much time with us after training. He ensures all our questions are answered before we leave. Hands down the best trainer and explained everything in a non trainers terms. Since her training, we’ve taken her to a dog park and sat outside the fence. She literally didn’t care of the other four dogs. She had her eyes on us and we are so proud of her and amazed on how well she is after being trained by Derek!! Thank you so much Derek for training Whiskey and most importantly taking the time to explain everything to us! We are amazed and highly recommend Unleashed K9 Academy!
