We can’t say enough good things about Averi and the team at Unleashed Dog Training! They completely changed the life of our family—and our Bernese Mountain Dog, Waldo. Waldo was a sweet boy, but he was also anxious, hyper, and totally unable to regulate himself. We were heartbroken and seriously considering rehoming him if we couldn’t find a solution. You know a dog trainer is good when you’re willing to drive multiple states to send your dog there! Yup you heard me! That’s what we did with my dog Lake after Averi moved back home to Michigan! We did group puppy training classes with her then she moved away. We loved her so much we drove our dog all the way to Michigan for a board and train! He learned so much he’s like a completely different dog out in public now. Her facilities were super clean and she took amazing care of my baby. We will never go to anyone else.

I got my Aussie with an attitude when she was 6 weeks old. From the beginning she was headstrong and difficult. Many times I felt I would not be able to keep her. Puppy classes helped but as she got older she became more reactive and aggressive. At 3 years old this spring she viciously attacked a neighbor dog who came over to play with her. This is something they had done through the years and had been a positive experience for both of them. A few days later she attacked me. Everybody told me I needed to put her down. I asked my vet if there were any options. They told me she was not rehomable but as a last chance effort to try Unleashed dog training. I did. She has been home 6 weeks now. The neighbors asK "what happened to your dog." She is calm and obedient. We can take long neighborhood walks without fear or issue. When I notice little things that may be a trigger for her to regress, her trainer is available with insight and direction which has always helped. Even when I not at home, she remains calm and relaxed. People tell me they knock at the door and don't even know there is a dog inside. I am so grateful to have my dog, to be able to laugh at her antics, to play ball with her,and just share our evening bowl of ice cream. It costs an average price of a registered dog, money well spent! I am comforted to know even if she outlives me for I am 75, she is rehomable. Just wanted to give an update on my dog Bella after the two weeks of e collar day training with Unleashed Dog Training! She was in a very solid place at the end of the two weeks. At home, we kept working at recall using the techniques they showed me and she is now consistently recalling every time! We had our first “off-leash” vacation this past weekend at the lake and every outing she was able to be on her e-collar without a leash! She loved it. Thank you guys for all your help along the way!
