My daughter has a rescue puppy full of energy and jumps, but we were exhausted by her uncontrolled high energy behaviors and needed guidance on training techniques. My daughter had one private lesson and a few group and my husband and I are stunned at her response. My daughter comes home each time, teaches us what they learned and we all work to reinforce the new lessons. It’s been such a wonderful experience for the whole family to benefit from!

I had a fantastic experience with this dog training program and can’t recommend them highly enough. From the beginning, they were incredibly easy to work with—supportive, responsive, and always willing to answer my questions. What stood out most to me is how simple and practical their approach is. The program focuses heavily on consistency and clear communication with your dog. The techniques are nuanced but straightforward, which made them easy to implement in daily life. Before this, I had tried a treat-based training approach with my 10-month-old German Shorthaired Pointer. While it worked in quiet environments, I struggled to get him to focus once we were in busy or distracting places. No amount of exercise seemed to help him settle or pay attention when there was a lot going on around him. I also have two young children, and I often found training to be especially difficult when they were around. Their method, however, is simple enough to implement even with kids present, which made practicing consistently much more realistic for our household. This program was the first time anyone emphasized calming my dog’s mind rather than trying to compete for his attention with increasingly high-value treats. That shift in perspective made a huge difference. By focusing on helping him settle and stay mentally balanced, I was able to gain control in situations that previously felt impossible. With their guidance and a few simple but effective techniques, I started seeing progress almost immediately—and continued to see improvements every day. The transformation has honestly been remarkable. I’m incredibly grateful for the support and knowledge they shared. It’s made a huge difference for both me and my dog.

I recently worked with Unleashed Academy for a foster I took on. Unbeknownst to me, the foster had some deeply rooted fear based reactivity and POOR manners coupled with a lack of respect or authority. I had truly thought he wouldn't be redeemable in a multi dog household after several fights between him and my personal dogs. As soon as we walked in, there were two other well trained dogs behind a gate and I immediately got anxious fearing the rescue would react. Much to my surprise he did not. It was like I had just seen a whole new dog as soon as the trainer entered the room! She was confident, respectful but stern, and immediately started correcting the fosters lack of boundaries or respect. He quickly caught on and was instantly a calmer and more respectful dog! I couldn't believe what i was seeing. The foster is a bully breed/ border collie mind you so definitely some strong will but he completely submitted his trust to her. By the end of our session, the foster successfully met and trained in the same room and the other 2 dogs! I cannot thank them enough for giving me and the foster the tools we need to become successful and get him to be a respectful member of society!

Edit: I no longer recommend this business after becoming aware of some things regarding it. Please do your own research when looking for a service dog. While the one I received from this program as a minor turned out to be an amazing dog prior to his retirement, he was extremely flooded with training methods I do not agree with and given to me at 10 months old. We had to do a lot of rework with other trainers and owner training to make him a service dog for me and the turn out of dogs from here is not favorable for me. This is my experience and that is all I speak for. Please make your own decisions regarding pet, service or facility dog training.
