Unleashed Abilities: Coaching People, Training Dogs

Before Keri: Leo, our Labradoodle puppy, pulled on the leash, jumped up when greeting people, ignored us whenever he wanted. After Keri: no more power struggles when walking, Leo sits when he sees another dog or person, and he actually obeys! He even stays in the down position while we are eating dinner. Keri's positive energy and love of dogs came through everyday. We are so thrilled with the dog Leo has become💜

Our dog Lily was a rescue from a local shelter and when we got her she didn't know any commands, didn't respond to her name, and had poor impulse control. We took her to a local dog training school and we were a bit disappointed that she didn't learn anything more from their class that we couldn't teach with our limited experience. We were frustrated with poor walking manners, still weak impulse control, and her limited attention span. Walking her before and after work was a source of callused hands and anxiety. After Keri's training, Lily has nearly immaculate manners, listens to us, and Keri taught us what we needed to train Lily to learn and obey new commands on AND off leash. Keri was very patient with us and joy to learn from. Worth every penny. I'd recommend her to anyone with a new or old pup that causes them stress.

Our rescue mutt Winston was already an innately wonderful dog, but the discipline and confidence our whole family gained through the Unleashed Abilities program with Keri and Mark only made made him better. After completing the puppy day school program with Mark, our rambunctious and mouthy Great Dane has settled into his daily routine beautifully and we no longer struggle with him jumping, mouthing, or bolting through the doors. We went from being pulled through the neighborhood by our big boy to enjoying balanced, pleasant family walks. Also, though our dog was always very loving toward our preschooler, post-training, they’re both able to set boundaries for play time so he doesn’t get too crazy with the tiny human. We also had a big break through with crating, thanks to Keri’s recommendations, after our dog proved to have a bad case of destructive separation anxiety. After multiple destroyed wire crates and household goods (including an entire sofa) we finally invested in the crate recommended by Keri... of course, our dog LOVES the new, tougher crate and we no longer struggle with escapes or destruction. We’re eternally grateful to Keri and Mark for bringing order to our home and giving Winston the chance to blossom into an amazing family companion. Since completing training, we’ve been able to take Winston off his prescribed anti-anxiety medication and we couldn’t ask for a better dog. Keri and Mark are so knowledgeable and their patience knows no bounds - Winston certainly tested it with all his destructive hijinks 😬 Thank you, Unleashed Abilities!
