FirstBark9 month old Maggie (Rottweiler) was outta control on a leash, she would drag even my husband to the ground. Wow! Chris and his assistant laid the ground work in her training she has been back home for four days and every day she gets better at walking on the leash, also her demand barking towards our older Rottweiler has been solved by simply saying "quiet", thank you so much, University K9,!

Hi Jennifer, yes we use e-collars, leash training, treat training, and verbal praise to teach the dogs boundaries and commands. My program is also based on the dogs having fun during training, while remaining focussed. Thanks for your question.

I'm unfamiliar, BUT I can tell you that Chris and Universityk9 does great. I did a 2week board and train first my blue heeler puppy who after moving was showing signs of aggression towards and older sickly dog, and was terrible at walking on and off leash. After working with Chris, it was almost like night and day. I highly recommend Universityk9.

We recently went on a trip and decided to try out the training program while we were away. It was such a great investment. Our pup has been doing so well. He had a lot of trouble with pulling on the leash while going on walks, to the point where I didn’t ever want to walk him on the leash. Now he is right by my side while we walk! I even feel comfortable walking him off lease now. Definitely worth the investment!

When I saw how well behaved their golden was I reached out to University K9 the next day. It addressed my dogs jumping issue, barking, nipping/biting, as well as many more things puppies do. Great customer service and I would recommend University K9 to anyone!

Sweetpea LOVES her trainer aswell! EVERYTIME we drive by she gets all excited thinking we are dropping her off! When we do drop her off she goes right in all excited to see all her friends including Chris! We are so unbelievably greatful for university K9! Our pup used to run right up to dogs (to say hi) but we couldnt get her to stop. After leaving her with Chris for a few weeks we now can comfortably go on walks off leash and know she won’t leave our side unless we say so! She’s doing so great! We are so so proud!!! I brought my dog, Dirk to see Chris in 2019 and after 5 years of him being out of their program he has yet to need a refresher course! Everywhere we go people ask time and time again, “how is your dog so well behaved?!” UNIVERSITY K9 is the answer! They are extremely thorough and helpful upon picking your pup up. I take Dirk everywhere with me and almost never use a leash with him. He always stays on my heels unless I say otherwise and when other dogs and people are around he doesn’t bark, nip or rough house, just casually greets everyone. I can’t thank Chris and the crew at K9 University enough! You will not be disappointed!
