FirstBarkBest dog trainier i have worked with. Starla was not going outside. I was hopeless until I found Chris. Starla goes outside now and walks like she is a show dog. Im very happy with the work, and training Chris did.

do you use e collors
Hi Jennifer, yes we use e-collars, leash training, treat training, and verbal praise to teach the dogs boundaries and commands. My program is also based on the dogs having fun during training, while remaining focussed. Thanks for your question.

I'm unfamiliar, BUT I can tell you that Chris and Universityk9 does great. I did a 2week board and train first my blue heeler puppy who after moving was showing signs of aggression towards and older sickly dog, and was terrible at walking on and off leash. After working with Chris, it was almost like night and day. I highly recommend Universityk9.

Chris was outstanding. Our pup Thor stayed with him for two weeks and came back a completely different dog (as far as manners are concerned). Chris was outstanding. Our pup Thor stayed with him for two weeks and came back a completely different dog (as far as manners are concerned). His jumping on people is almost non existent (we’re still working out his boundaries, but he doesn’t jump first time meeting new people). Before we took Thor to Chris, walking on a leash was not pleasant for either of us, but now he loves his walks. Most importantly for us is his recall. We wanted to take him to the beach or areas without leashes and now we can. We’ve also left Thor with Chris just for boarding and it really seems like he did a lot better than other places we took him to. Chris wa also kind enough to give Thor a brush up just to make sure he was doing the behaviors we had been working on. Would 100% take our next puppy to Chris.
My dog learned 3 things while there for 2 whole weeks. She was extremely nervous while there, and the owner/trainer would just dismiss my concerns and tell me it was my fault. Too expensive for what you get, too stressful for the dog.
They did absolute wonders with our dog thor! Still blows me aways how much he has changed.
My puppy who was aggressive on walks, now walks without barking and going after every dog we see! She is fun to walk now!
