The USA Veterans Service Dogs are located in New Orleans. Are you looking for a service or a companion dog. It service dog is trained to do cast for you that you have or unable to or have trouble doing a comfort dog is just what it says it's just like a house pet. A service dog you can take with you anywhere where a companion animal you are restricted to quite a bit. With a service dog they can help you with PTSD but you also have to have two tasks that that dog performs for you. Steve and everyone I've met at USVSD has been incredible. If you know a veteran with PTSD a service dog can be a complete game changer.
Seeing a service dog like Guppy in action really shows how important these programs are for helping veterans regain independence and confidence. USVSD is doing incredible work training service dogs and supporting those who served our country.

From what I have seen United States Veteran Service Dogs (USVSD) is an incredible nonprofit providing trained service dogs to veterans at no cost. Their mission supports PTSD recovery, mobility assistance, and veteran independence through life-changing service dogs. I truly cannot recommend them enough or thank them enough for the service they provide truly amazing people. The impact it has on the veterans who receive dogs is monumental. Truly a wonderful organization.
