I am a lifelong dog owner and dedicated dog trainer. I founded Underdog Universe with the goal of helping to create better communication between all dogs and their owners. Establishing proper communication with your dog takes practice and knowledge; my job is not to teach your dog how to listen to me…it’s to teach YOU how to become the best communicator and leader for your dog. I also offer therapy dog training and certification.

I hired Zach for four sessions with my four month old bulldog. She is listening loads better than when we started, I think what I didn’t realize most was that the dog training lessons are for you not the dog. Zach taught me how to proper train my dog and even the four weeks of training is over with him, he has equipped me with the skills needed to train my dogs properly. She gets better and better each day, and Zach even checks in with me to make sure training is still doing well. I would recommend him to anyone. He was always on time, polite, clean, and focused when he came to my house to train. If in the future I want more classes I will call him again!

HIGHLY recommend. Zack did such an amazing job with our ornery girl, Abby. As first time dog owners with full time schedules and a high energy dog, the 2 week board and train program was exactly what we needed. We tried weekly classes through another training school and training her ourselves for months, but Abby still struggled focusing and following commands. After 2 weeks with Zack, it was like we picked up a whole new pup. If you’re debating the best option for training, Underdog Universe is 100% it.
