UberDog Training

We learned about Greg’s dog training method from a neighbor who raved about him & the effectiveness of his training services. We had a four month old wire haired dachshund, a very lively spirited pup. Greg was terrific to work with—great with the pup and patient with us. It took diligence and a fair bit of work, but our little guy is better behaved and a happy walking companion. He is welcomed by our neighbors and dog-friendly strangers as a good little boy. My dog and I had hired two different persons and companies for training but neither were satisfactory. I was very dismayed because I wanted to have a safe and well behaved dog and at age 6 months, I was eager to begin getting both of us trained! I found Greg at UberDog Training by good fortune! Greg came to my home to meet my dog and me and explain his program. I was impressed with his knowledge and by his philosophy on training. I made the investment and we began our training with weekly sessions. In between training sessions, my dog and I worked together to perfect the skills Greg taught us. Gradually, we met at other locations to expose us to new environments. We had an intense but fun time at all sessions! We have tapered off meeting sessions since we, dog and me, have learned our lessons and just want to continue to practice what we have learned! My dog started out with out of control exuberance and now he happily follows the rules and behaviors that are acceptable for safety and enjoyment! Greg has been available and willing to meet when and where it is convenient for all of us. He is patient and kind and my dog just loves him. So do I. We are totally happy with the dogs transition and highly recommend Greg and his UberDog Training program!

Highly recommend. Greg is helping us prepare our 13 year old mini schnauzer for city living… He is a patient, thoughtful, skilled trainer. He’s adapted training to the skills / ability of our elderly pup (and owner) effectively, taking the stress and trepidation out of the effort - challenging the notion that ‘you can’t teach an old dog new tricks’ - you can! Charlie, his canine co-trainer, is awesome too! Grateful for Greg.

We and our Siberian Husky puppy Mya have really enjoyed working with Greg. He is very knowledgeable about dogs, and is a good teacher about effective training. Mya is a smart high energy Husky and prior to training she was difficult to take for a walk. Now she follows the “heel, sit, and down” commands faithfully. He has been very “hands on” in working with Mya, and they are now big buddies. We recommend Greg and UberDog Training highly.
