Ty the Dog Guy is a Utah based dog training company that offers it's famous Transform Your Dog in 60 Days program to dog owners across Salt Lake, Utah County, Ogden area, and beyond.
The dog training program helps dogs of any age including puppies to elder dogs to fix aggression problems, obedience problems, destruction, anxiety, and more.
Every dog that leaves the program is proficient in 4 areas:
- On leash control- No pulling, lunging, etc.
- Off leash control- Go hiking in the mountains, camping, be off leash at the park and still have control
- Great manners- Get rid of jumping, chewing, potty accidents, and more
- Aggression and Anxiety- Solve these issues and live a more full life

The TYD60 program not only taught me how to turn a highly reactive, leash-aggressive dog into a dog I can trust, but also how to train any dog I may own in the future. This was empowering in a way I never expected. My dog is happier, I'm happier, and I don't have to worry she's going to eat the next person who comes to the door.
Amber trained me how to train my dog, how to train my family, and how to train visitors. Both Amber and the videos validated what I was going through with my dog and then gave me the tools to overcome each problem. Being able to go to the monthly park trainings and ask follow-up questions as the need arises is invaluable, and I look forward to being around other owners who know where we've been and how great it is to be where we are now.

I have SOOO many positive things to say about this company and its owner, Ty Brown. I've had three dogs trained by Ty and his team, with the last one being trained as my service dog.
This team is super supportive, kind, and REALLY good at what they do! They provide continuing education and training, as well as being open to questions and additional support down the road if needed.
People ask me all the time who trained my service dog (a Golden Retriever named Ella) because she is sooooo good! I would never want to go to any other trainer/training company because these guys are truly the best!
And a fun fact, I got a new Goldendoodle puppy last year, and my Golden Retriever was so good and well trained that she's been training my puppy (which is hilarious to watch). I still need to take my puppy in for additional training, but this time around, with all of the knowledge I've gained from this company, the training process has been so much easier for me.

I love that they offer group classes forever after you finish the program and if we ever need more help they will do more one on one for no extra cost. Pricey but DEFINITELY worth it 100%

Our experience with Ty the Dog Guy has been absolutely great. Our rottie pup did puppy bootcamp and it was the best thing we could’ve invested in. We were always kept informed about his weekly progress and his home transition overall has been great! From the day we started we’ve had constant support from our trainer and other staff members. Highly recommend their services!

They helped me train my service dog. They helped me grind the right dog with the right temperament and then I did the boot camp option and they task trained my dog to help mitigate my disability. They also trained ME so that I could continue to be successful with my service dog.
