Ty The Dog Guy

We had such a great experience working with Amber to train our 7-month golden retriever puppy. Amber did a fantastic job helping each of us improve in the areas that were challenging. Our puppy enjoyed the training and has learned many new skills. This is the second time we have worked with Ty the Dog Guy for training our dog. Each time has been a great experience for our family. We look forward working with Amber in the future for group sessions.

Was desperate for a solution to a serious problem within our pet family at home with some attacks and aggression issues. The staff at Ty the Dog Guy were extremely helpful with walking me through the training program and the services that they offer--I was immediately sold with the passion that they held while talking about their program. We had Bailey as our trainer and she was absolutely incredible. She was always available for any questions or concerns even outside of our training sessions. She was very patient, understanding, and always so kind. She made the trainings fun and was very encouraging with the process. She is amazing at what she does! What made the trainings even nicer was that they were all done at my home (and ventured out on walks and parks). I never thought that this outcome was possible--it's like I have new dogs. This program WORKS and I will always recommend their services. I am FUREVER a fan.

As a disabled dog owner, having an obedient companion is top priority. After I brought my puppy home, I was so nervous about taking him on walks, he did dropped me to the floor a few times. The first session with Amber my puppy was a wiggly energetic adorable mess. Fast forward a few weeks, Frederick was a totally different dog. He is mostly off leash now and he’s controlling his impulses incredibly. You can tell how hard he works at it because he sleeps right after. Amber was fantastic with my boy, very kind and patient with his puppy craziness and taught us the tools to turn this adorable goofball into the goodest boi.

Amber's training methods were both effective and gentle. She always prioritized positive reinforcement, encouraging our dog to learn through praise and rewards. She also equipped us with the tools and strategies necessary to address behavioral issues in a calm and constructive manner. Within just six months, our puppy has nearly-mastered a remarkable repertoire of commands, including sit, down, stay, wait, come, heal, and go to his place. These remarkable results are a testament to Amber's exceptional training abilities and our willingness to follow her guidance. The TYD 60 program includes a valuable e-book, a high-quality e-collar, a food pouch, and a long-line. Additionally, the company offers flexible payment plans to accommodate a variety of budgetary needs. While the company has several strengths, there are a couple of areas for improvement. The online training videos are excessively long and would benefit from being shortened, edited, and organized into chapters or sections. Time stamps would also be helpful for navigating directly to specific topics. Additionally, branded apparel, such as shirts or jackets, would enhance trainer identification during appointments. Overall, our experience with Ty The Dog Guy has been nothing short of exceptional. Amber's expertise, patience, and passion made training our puppy an enjoyable and rewarding experience. We highly recommend Ty The Dog Guy to anyone seeking exceptional dog training that delivers transformative results.
