Ty The Dog Guy

My German Shepherd was very reactive towards other dogs. I sent him to do a boot camp with their trainer Melanie. She kept me updated through the process and made sure to answer any questions I had. She was very open about the process and didn’t seem to be hiding anything. She also set expectations with me that even though my pup had done a boot camp, we would still have a lot of work to do with him. Tyrael has been home for just a few days and he is so much better behaved. Melanie helped him figure out how to work through his emotions before they get out of control. Taking him outside used to be such a chore and I would dread it, especially the fear that we would run into another animal. Now even if he’s distracted, he listens to me when we’re outside. He doesn’t pull on the leash as much (we’re still working on him not doing it at all), and when we’re in an enclosed space outside, he’s constantly checking in with me and will listen to commands. I am very impressed with how far he’s come and I cannot recommend Melanie enough! Dog training can be pricey, but it’s definitely an investment you should make. And at least with the boot camp, these guys made sure that I have all the equipment I need to continue training him. And Melanie made sure I knew that I can always reach out with any questions. I’m excited for our follow up sessions so she can see how well he’s doing and so we can continue to work on getting him fully trained!

Amanda from Ty the dog trainer changed my life with my puppy Zeus. He was so hyper and anxious. We had a difficult time going out in public, taking walks. He pulled and wouldn't listen. After working with her he is a different puppy. I have all the same fun energetic lovable puppy but now he listens, we can go to the park off leash. Greatest thing we ever did for our dog. The training was awesome and Alexis was great. It is a night and day difference from when we started to when we finished. Alexis had so much knowledge and was always helpful. She constantly reassured us and encouraged us along the way. The videos are so helpful and it was nice to be able to go back and rewatch some lessons. I would highly recommend the training to anyone and I have, we loved it. Thank you Alexis, Ozzy is a well behaved happy dog because of you.

We adopted a 1 year Australian Shepard who had aggression issues toward men and had a nipping problem. I have used Ty The Dog in the past with another dog and was amazed at the transformation so I decided to use them with my new Aussie. Within 3 sessions Pogo was a completely different dog. He learned how to not he aggressive, no growling, no nipping, and I am able to take him everywhere without being concerned. I highly recommend Ty the Dog Guy because they take the time to find out more about the dog, the issues you want fixed, and you will be amazed at how your dog will listen and do what you want.
