Two Tails Training

We brought our dog after a different training program did not work. He helped our scared, reactive German shepherd become more confident in all scenarios. We continue to work every day with training and it’s amazing to see our dog blossom and become everything we imagined. Fernando and Erica are always just a text away if we ever need any help even though Thor has graduated. I can’t thank them enough for all they did for our dog and all they taught us about training him. Stop questioning if you should hire them and just do it! They’re incredible.

My fiancé and I first found Two Tails Training on Instagram, where we were blown away by Fern's ability to work with aggressive and reactive dogs. We were fortunate enough to not have aggressive dogs, however, we definitely needed help with their basic obedience. Erica was such an amazing trainer! She worked with each of our dogs individually to focus on what they needed most. She even drove up to Denver once to work with our dogs in our home - our dogs were always well behaved at the training center, but not at home! We have a 70 lb Golden Retriever and a 105 lb German Shepherd who will now hold a down at a brewery (and at the vets) making our lives so much easier! I am able to walk both of the dogs at the same time, which never would have been possible before Two Tails! If anyone is looking for a trainer, I HIGHLY recommend the team at Two Tails!! For those in Denver- they are DEFINITELY worth the drive!!

Let me start by saying Fern at Two Tails is the best. I researched dog training for weeks reading every single review on every platform before deciding upon Two Tails and I have no regrets. My dog (2 year old Rottweiler) is happy to see him every week and feels very comfortable in his care. Fern teaches you how to better communicate with your dog and tools to set up a solid training foundation. This training is hard work and takes dedication but is worth it!! Another bonus is Fern's communication skills. Outside of classes he was 100 percent responsive (usually within minutes) to my text messages with questions, concerns or even proud training moments. This goes a long way in my book. Truly dedicated to his clients and it shows.
