Turning Point Dog Training

So glad we went with Turning Point Dog Training! I’d been considering working with a professional trainer for a few months when I stumbled upon TPDT. When I looked into their website and reviews, I decided to move forward and am so happy we did! Harry, my almost two year old Golden Retriever, struggled with reactivity, fear, impulse control, and walking on a leash. We signed up for the 8 session training package with Anthony and just finished this week. Harry has learned how to settle, even in higher distraction areas, is less fearful, and is making huge progress in his loose leash walking. It’s made a huge difference understanding why he reacts the way he does and learning how to properly handle a dog in high stress situations to set them up for success. We paired his training with weekly daycare sessions to build his confidence since his lack of it attributed to a lot of his fear and reactivity. It’s amazing to know I’m dropping him off at a structured daycare where there are trainers present the entire time so he is safely socialized. We still have some learning to do but I am so happy with the progress we’ve made, and I know I can always reach out to Anthony for advice or to set up a follow up session if needed. 10/10 recommend their services!!
