She helped us ease our Boxer puppy Brogan into our family and us into to Puppy-dom.
We wanted to start on the right track with training - Rebecca was a true blessing in advising on what we needed (and didn’t) for our pup prior to his arrival and in the first few weeks. With her help and training, Brogan was potty trained in no time. It was so comforting to know she was just a call or text way, between trainings. Training was tailored to Brogan and very considered around the Boxer Breed, but stilling keeping personality - learning boundaries and fundamentals we continue to use.
When have Brogan out in the world a great deal and receive so many compliments on how well behaved he is (just 4 months), we know this is due to the great training we all had.

I have 2 small kids So I really needed our German Shepherd puppy to be well behaved. Although he’s a work in progress, she has made tremendous progress with him. I would recommend this dog training program to anyone. She was kind to my dog and very knowledgeable. Our dog was really nervous and barked a lot initially. She went out of her way to solicit people to stand in for our dog to practice with certain things. For example, he would bark like crazy at anyone walking by even from a distance. We were able to practice with “actors” which helped tremendously for real time improvement.

Rebecca came to my home to work with my 2 year old dog on basic skills. I was looking for someone to help me problem solve my dogs indoor accidents, help with crate training, barking at the door, and coming when called. Rebecca personalized the training based on my dogs strengths and weaknesses. She gave me skills to work on with my dogs strengths each week so that my dog didn’t get overwhelmed. I’m so pleased with the progress my dog made over the course of six weeks. Rebecca was always on time, communicated well, and even helped with trouble shooting any problems I experienced between our sessions. Would highly recommend Rebecca! 3 things really stick out to me as to why she was perfect for us:
1) the training was very specific to what we needed as a family, not just a cut and paste program. We signed up just to train our new puppy Sylvie, but she gave us a lot of great advice on how to modify that training for our older, very anxious dog, Cass. Also how to interact with both of them, or signals to monitor, to build a healthy and happy relationship between them.
2) she modified training times to fit our schedule/Sylvie’s needs. For example, when we wanted to work on leash training through our neighborhood she came to our house at 7AM so we could beat the heat & protect Syvlie’s paws from the hot concrete.
3) we tried to train Sylvie ourselves using only positive reinforcement and were getting nowhere. Rebecca taught using consistency so that negative consequences were minimal but understandable. Again, with suggestions on how to modify for Cass. She would explain exactly why she was following a certain pattern and then let us ask tons of questions about specific situations and how to handle those scenarios. She also encourages us to video situations around our house and send them to her for further advice.
She was exactly what we were looking for and Sylvie absolutely adores her. Even scared little Cass wanted to snuggle with her after just a couple sessions. We will be encouraging all of our friends to use her services when looking for a trainer.
