Bobby Baldwin and his team trained our golden retriever, Moose. What I really appreciate about Bobby is his forthcoming attitude, honesty, and the value and work he puts into his dogs. Bobby was very honest that we were bringing our pup in late (we knew it), and tempered expectations that Moose may not be cut out. He told us he would let us know if he determined that to be the case. However Moose flourished under his care and is doing wonderful! He’s turned out to have great hunting instincts and is ready for his Junior Hunt test! I am SO pleased with the outcome and feel ready to tackle everything head on. More importantly, I am grateful for this relationship with Bobby knowing I can come back and get help whenever I need it. Thank you for everything!!

Bobby Baldwin at Troy Creek is a fantastic dog trainer even better person! He took a high energy Weimaraner and turned her into a focused hunting dog in a very short time. The change in behavior has provided benefits at home too. I highly recommend Bobby and crew. A fantastic group of people and more knowledgeable than any other trainers I have used. This is our second field dog and the first was a golden trained in California and a much pricier location. Bobby exceeded all expectations.

From the start I was looking for a place to get my chessie trained and posted in a hunting group about it and Troy Creek and Bobby were the number one recommendation from the dozens that commented on that post. I reached out to Bobby the next day and within 48 hours he had me talking on the phone about his facilities and everything he goes through with the dogs and what to expect. He’s very open and honest about the reality of the situation which I was extremely grateful for. After the conversations on the phone it sounded like a done deal to me and it truly was. Bobby has done so exceptionally well with my chessie Molly and I couldn’t be more grateful for it. Seeing the difference from when she went down to now just getting her back is extraordinary with the dog that she is and the dog that I see she can now turn into. I am very thankful for Bobby turning my happy go lucky pup into a titled hunting dog at just a year old. Again I could not have asked for a better person to take Molly to. We sent our very driven pup to Bobby and he came back ready to go. Now a titled Senior Hunter (if we wanted he could go further; we chose not to), our dog batted 1.00 last season on ducks and geese; not one lost bird. Moreover, Bobby continues to allow us to come and train with him. We will use him again on our next dog.
