Troubled to Trained

Shane did an amazing job training our two dogs while we were on vacation. Our two major focus areas was consistently barking anyone who approached our house and recall while off-leash. Shane sent us daily progress updates, and asked if we had questions throughout training. Our dogs just graduated his program today and I can already see that they are calmer and less reactive to the minor distractions which usually caused them to excessively bark. We finished up with a debrief and a plan to continue enforcing and training the good behavior. I look forward to seeing them progress more. I would highly recommend Shane and his team for any of your dog training needs!

Shane was awesome! I feel so much more confident and comfortable with my reactive pup. One hour and my dog is already listening and behaving so much better! Shane really took the time to listen to our concerns and watch our dog Finn’s behaviors, then he walked us through what to do and why we needed to it that way and how it clicked for Finn. Already our reactive dog is doing well enough that I can leave my windows and front door open without worrying about him trying to launch himself through the glass to get our neighbors. Thank you Shane for your help- I really don’t what my family would have done with our loving but crazy pup before your help.

Just had our first training session with Shane and it was amazing! Our baby Maya is usually timid around men but she warmed up to Shane very quickly. His demeanor was so gentle, he was very patient with us and explained different techniques very effectively. Maya pulls very hard on a leash and Shane recommended a prong collar. We were very hesitant at first because we always thought they were inhumane, but he demonstrated how it felt on us and it didn't hurt like we thought it would. Maya responded immediately to it and we were so pleasantly surprised. We will definitely use him again. We highly recommend Shane for dog (and people) training! 🐾🐾

Shane was here a few days ago working with Dallas, and I can already see a difference in his behavior. The problem was barking when people came to visit. Dallas is tiny, white, fluffy, and cute, so nobody minded him jumping up…but I wanted to calm him down. Shane was good at sharing the reasons for the behavior and how better to respond, and Dallas caught on very quickly…and so did I. 😊 We both learned a lot about various behaviors and what caused them and how to redirect some of that energy. And I also see a lot of good information here online! Thank you, Shane!
