Triple Threat K-9

Long Review Ahead... I can't tell you how many times I've recommended Bryan and his team at Triple Threat K-9 for dog training. We completed the in-home 6 week training with our two pups, both adopted from the shelter, in December 2025. Some key concerns that led us to seek training were: counter surfing, constantly jumping on people (and they are big pups), absolutely zero recall, and walking on a leash was...heinous. Since training, we get compliments from family, friends, and the vet. We're constantly asked how Juicebox and Peanut are so well trained and we love hyping up TTK9. Here's what you should know: the training is mostly for the humans. It is a process where you get out what you put in. We did the weekly in-home trainings and stuck as closely to Bryan's recommendations for daily training as we could. As a busy family with two young kids it wasn't always perfect, but we put in the work. Our kids were 4 and 6 at the time and they got in on the training too, so the dogs listen/respond as well to them as they do my husband and I. I was initially hesitant to use some of the correction tools because of stigma. Bryan's approach to incorporating them is humane, based on science, and right-sized for if/when it is appropriate. It never felt like we were relying solely on them for behavior modification. We've since used the information, approaches, and concepts we learning during training to address issues as they pop up. For instance, training our male dog not to mark the brand new playset we just installed in our yard. We feel equipped to navigate most challenges that occur and always know we can reach out if we're thrown a curveball. The positive reviews right after training completion are warranted and accurate. I wanted to provide one after we'd been on our own for a while and can verify it has still been worth every penny.

If you are looking for a wonderful and knowledgeable trainer for your dog, I highly recommend Triple Threat k9! We rescued a 2yr old Australian Shepherd/Rat Terrier mix from the pound. She is very prey driven and was an excessive barker, she pulled on the leash which made it hard to enjoy taking her on walks. We did a 6 week in home training and in 6 weeks, we have a completely different. She listens better, her barking has lessened considerably. When we take her places like the stores, people are commenting on what a well behaved dog she is! I am so thankful that we used triple threat k9, and will always recommend them. We will continue to work on her training and learning more with our little Mishka. Thank you, Bryan!
