No. We do not use shock collars, e-collars, or any form of electronic stimulation. We understand their place but we don't recommend using them. Our philosophy is rooted in trust, communication and building connection, not control through discomfort.

Tyler came to our home for a behavior consultation with our whole family of 5. He was able to command the dog's attention immediately and patiently talked us through and showed us how to train our dog to stop jumping, put together an eating/potty schedule, and teach simple commands (sit, stay, etc.) We appreciate his simple techniques and that he taught us as a family how to work with our dog. As soon as he left we were all anxious to get started. We cannot thank Tyler enough and can't wait to see how we can build upon what we've learned.

Tyler was extremely knowledgeable and helpful during the session. He provided numerous ideas on nutrition and training. Our dog Hershey really liked Tyler. Tyler is amazing. I was super nervous having a puppy for the first time and also did a lot of research on good trainers and Tyler really is in my opinion the dog whisper of Yorkville! He explained everything to help me understand my puppies needs, how to help Simba(my puppy) feel more confident and feel more safe beside me, how to walk without pulling the leash, and also shared some great scheduling advice and nutritional information. I’ve had a lot of guest in the house and Tyler is the first person who Simba sat by the door and whined a bit for when he left as he truly missed him after only meeting him for two hours. The training helped me with my confidence in having a puppy and the next day I saw an amazing change in Simba. He listened more attentively and didn’t pull the leash and he did not once go in our neighbors yard/grass. Thank you so much Tyler you really not only helped Simba but also myself feel more confident. Also the toy you suggested is like a magic wand for Simba he sees it and instantly will sit and wait to play.
Tyler is also very dedicated to his work and works from his heart. I could instantly tell he does this to genuinely help people and love dogs and not just as a job. He genuinely shoed so much attention and care for Simba and I would recommend anyone else like me who’s never had a puppy to reach out to Tyler!
