Training GK9

I had a great experience working with Kate and Gev. I have a Rottweiler, and when we started he was around 8–9 months old, big, strong, and naturally a little stubborn. I had worked with a couple of other trainers before them, so I was pretty selective and also nervous leaving him with anyone. They were very flexible and started with hourly sessions at my home so we could build comfort first. From there we gradually moved into short boarding stays and eventually a 3-week board and train. They were also incredibly attentive when he needed antibiotics and eye drops, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. What stood out most is that they really understood his triggers, preferences, and body language, and didn’t try to force progress. They took the time to do things properly, which made a big difference and showed they prioritize the dog’s well-being long term. His behavior improved a lot, he’s calmer, more structured, and no longer jumping or biting like before. Overall he’s more confident and able to control his emotions better. They also made sure I understood what to do at home, and even after boarding they’ve stayed available for questions and have come to check in and help in person. You can tell they truly love animals, and the dogs clearly love them back. I’d definitely recommend them, especially if you have a larger or headstrong dog and want real results without worrying about their safety.
