Trained Wright K9

My baby girl was a land shark. I couldn't walk her on a leash without being dragged down. My family was getting scared of her. I was desperate for help then I found Trained Wright. They make it look easy these guys are so good with explaining everything and helping to make sure you leave there understanding your baby and 2 months later when my 76 year old father needed a refresh they got me right away Mike and Isaac are AWESOME!! I got a Doodle when she was 6 weeks old. She is a good dog - now 6 months old. I was determined to have a well behaved dog. She is my first puppy/dog, and I knew I didn’t know enough to teach her to be the best she can be. My new neighbor told me about Trained Wright K9. She took her Golden Doodle there about 4 years ago and said the transformation was unbelievable. So I reached out to Mike and told him what I wanted. Two weeks later I was dropping her off for 2 weeks of training without me. I didn’t really know what to expect, didn’t really know the hows or what’s, that they were going to do to teach her. At that time my issues were she was walking me on the leash and going crazy when other people were around. Two weeks later I picked her up - was so excited to see her. Mike told me to bring her home for 3 days to let her decompress, let her be a puppy. I did, but I was wondering what she learned, since I didn’t know. We went back 3 days later and Isaac, Mikes son (most awesome trainer) showed me what she learn’ed. I couldn’t believe my eyes. She was totally obedient to him. Walked right next to him, stopped when he stop, walked where he walked at whatever speed. I was amazed. Then he showed me “place”. He would tell her to go to this place and she went right to it and stayed there until he told her ok. He would go across the room put his back to her…she stayed. I really couldn’t believe it - in two weeks! I got her home and she did for me, what she did for Isaac. She walks with me on the leash. Right next to me. Stops when I stop and waits to continue. Wow! And she does place very well. I have almost got her to stay placed even after I open the door to who ever knocked. Other than that she will stay placed, which is on her bed on the floor, and I can walk around the house and come back and she is still there. AND she is not jumping up all over everyone that approaches. We went back again today to learn more of what she learned. My precious Lucy is like a different dog! She loves Isaac (and Mike) and wants to please, and please she does. I am so very happy I chose to do it. And not that I chose to do it but that I was led there, to Trained Wright! They are so engaged, gave me such personal time, wanting to know exactly what I wanted out of the training. I got that and so much more. Imagine - in just a few short weeks, she learned what she needed to know to live her life as a very obedient dog. She is calmer, more trusting and even sleeps better. Thank you Trained Wright! I will never forget your dedication to Lucy, and every dog that comes your way. You impacted our lives forever.

I recently attended a clinic with Mike & Isaac Wright. I can’t tell you how refreshing it was to learn dog behaviors from them. So many tidbits of information on dog behavior and dog training, simply invaluable. Their skills and knowledge will stay with me for years. I’m looking forward to taking my dog to train with them at their facility. Working dogs take special people, specific training, Trained Wright K9 is a resource well used!
