Train Your Pup

WARNING!!! DO NOT GO TO TRAIN YOUR PUP IN MORAINE!!! As a pet owner you never expect to get a phone call that something has happened to your baby. My worst fear came alive today as I received a call that someone had my sweet girl. Many know Tazz but for those that don't. Tazz had some behavior issues that we had been seeking training to help correct. She has really never been with other dogs but had quickly learned and had been doing great getting along with the dogs at doggy daycare. While at doggy daycare today, tazz got out of the facility because of someone's neglect and negligence. She was roaming the streets by a very busy road and luckily was picked up by a very kind soul of a human being. The good Samaritan saw her rabies tag and called MY CLINIC. MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT. Thank God she was safe. However not a single phone call from the facility to me or my mother to let us know tazz had gotten out. Not a single person asked if she was okay after my mother showed up at daycare to be asked, "did you find your dog?" Mind you this whole event took anywhere from 30 mins to 1 hour at this point. When the owner of this place called she had nothing but excuses. "They were cleaning up poop and she got out." " they noticed when they were bringing the dogs in and noticed". ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND NEGLIGENT!! I have never in my like been so upset. Not only could we have not found her or she could have been killed but even worse. The scariest thing that i fear is they had additional people come to help find her and if they had found her...they never would have told us. Let this be a very big lesson. #1 DO NOT take your dog to train your pup. #2 microchip and put tags on your pet because that is the only reason she is home tonight. ❤️
