Train Your Pup

Absolutely loved our puppy class at train your pup! My corgi puppy stanley and I have learned so much! I remember our first class I left feeling like I had a terrible puppy because he barely could walk on a leash and all he wanted to do was play. But leaving my last class I feel so much better! We have come a long way and still have a ways to go. But there is always something to learn.Can't wait to take more classes Stanley and I are always willing to learn!

After adopting a newly rescued Shiba Inu from a puppy mill, we (us and the dog!),were in serious need of help. The newest member of the family, Brody, had no idea what it was like to be a dog, or to recognize what it meant for people to actually care for him. After looking at area trainers and animal behaviorists, we chose to give Danielle O'Neil at Train Your Pup a call based on the information provided on her website. Danielle came out to the house to meet us and Brody, and by the time she had left we knew we had made the right decision. We signed up for some in home training, and the differences we noticed in Brody were awesome, so much so that we now go to "Enrichment Class" at Train Your Pup. Danielle keeps the class sizes small enough so that she is able to dedicate time to work with each dog.The confidence that we have seen from Brody has grown so much in the last few months, and we have no doubt that it is much in part due to the positive reinforcement training that Danielle has taught US, so that we can teach Brody. We can't imagine how life would have been with Brody without seeking out the help of Danielle. Many thanks to Danielle and her patience with us and Brody.
