Train Pro Dogs

My husband and I worked with Liz from Train Pro dogs in the 10 week puppy class. Liz is very knowledgeable and has had extensive training in her field. She is very personable and flexible to meet the needs of her clients. Class was on time each week and we jumped right in, practicing commands and walking on a leash. We have a 6 month Labrador puppy that is full of energy and we were able to teach commands and learn strategies to use at home to help with jumping, puppy biting, and potty training! She was pretty much fully potty trained half way through the class and has not had any accidents since. Would highly recommend contacting Liz.

This was a life changing decision to choose Train Pro Dogs. Our Border Collie was wild, impulsive, and though super friendly she could not be around other dogs or people without being overwhelmed with excitement, and on walks she would pull so much and chase squirrels all the time. Not only were walks difficult but going places with her (farmers market, dog park, etc..) was impossible. Well.. fast forward to after the 2 week Board and Train and it’s a whole different lifestyle with her! She walks next to us without pulling, controls her reactions to squirrels and dogs, goes to her place in our home on command (when there’s a knock in the door or we are eating), understands Sit, Down, Place, Come, Heel, and the best of all, she went with us today when we went to have lunch outside in downtown Sarasota! She laid down next to us while we ate while people walked within feet of her and other dogs were all over.. lots of distractions and she did AMAZING! We kept thinking ‘this is crazy!’ and ‘who is this dog?!’ If you are looking for a dog trainer, stop looking and choose this place! They train in an actual home with a big back yard, another reason we chose them. I cannot thank our trainer Marissa enough! She was wonderful with our dog, truly cared, and it showed, and quite frankly performed a mini miracle!! Zoe thanks you, and we thank you for everything!

I brought my 3 year old German shepherd Harley for the 2 week board and train program. Harley was in need of some reenforcement of the house rules, obedience and off leash training. Harley’s trainer Marissa was fantastic! Marissa was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly throughout the two week process. You can tell Marissa loves training dogs. She gave Harley and myself a great foundation of proper training so that we both can grow as dog/owner. I also loved seeing daily videos and photos on what Harley was learning that day. I highly recommend Train Pro Dogs and request Marissa if you can!
