He was basically feral in the beginning (was a stray only had been in the shelter for a few weeks) so he was very chaotic and wild (climbing on furniture, pulling constantly, lunging on dogs because he was so excited to say hi). He’s come along way and I am so happy! At first I was hesitant to work with the e-collar and prong but it’s been so helpful and our bond is just as strong. We’ve done both the tutoring program and then the study abroad when we were traveling and he came back so happy and knowing so many new things! So grateful I went with Traction.

Mia was amazing with my dogs Alvin and Sydney. Before Mia, they couldn't walk, jumped on people at the door, and rarely listened to me. Afterwards, they were the complete opposite, without losing their personalities. They are much better dogs and companions, and I feel so much better about the quality of their lives!

I had 2 of my dogs stay a few nights at Traction K9. . We are over the top happy with staff, the facility, the cleanliness, the calmness of the entire environment. We have a fearful, aggressive dog, with a previous history of abuse and neglect. We have not had any luck finding a facility able to care for him in over 2 years. We discovered Traction K9 and are so happy & relieved we can finally go on vacation as a family again. We highly recommend anyone struggling to find a place for their reactive/aggressive or fearful dog to try Traction K9!

I have a seven-year-old rescue dog that has always been anxious, but the anxiety increased substantially after my husband passed away last year. I was at my wits end and it reached a point where I had to do something because she bit our Dog Sitter. A friend at work recommended Traction and Tina. I opted for the “study abroad program” …a three week program where your pet is in the home of the trainer. I picked JoJo up last night and Tina spent a great deal of time with me explaining what JoJo had learned and what she needed going forward. The change I see in JoJo’s anxiety level is remarkable. My only regret is that I didn’t find Tina sooner. Her training methods make so much sense, and the tools that she shared will be very helpful going forward. Thank you Tina!!!!!!🩷🐾🩷
