Top Tier K9 - St Augustine

I seriously can’t recommend Alex enough! You can tell right away how much he genuinely cares about the dogs he works with. The improvement in my 16-week-old Doberman puppy, Petra’s, training and overall behavior has been amazing in such a short amount of time. Alex was also so kind and helpful with posting Petra’s ears every week, and he helped out when I wasn’t able to make it there myself to do it. What I appreciate most is that his support doesn’t just stop after the 4-week program. He still checks in, answers questions, and is always willing to help whenever I need advice. It’s obvious he truly cares about both the dogs and their owners, and I’m so thankful we found him!!

Wow! What a great experience. We were have problems with our 9 mo. old lad. She was uncontrollable on a leash. We couldn’t take our eyes off her otherwise she would grab food, towels, papers, wallet ( yup) on anything else that was within her reach. As we are both in our upper 70’s we were at the point that we were questioning if she was a good fit for us. She had been with a trainer when we first got her but obviously that training didn’t work. So before giving up on her I searched for other trainers and came to Top Tier K9. I can’t tell you why but something about them said “Give them a try!” I’m glad we did. After 4 weeks it is like we have a different dog. She is calm, obedient, stays by my side and is great on our walks. So much so I can take her off leash and be confident that she will stay by my side. So, if you are looking for a trainer that will make a difference in how your dog listens and behaves I highly recommend Alex at Top Tier K9.

We had a really great experience working with Alex at Top Tier K-9. Before training, our standard poodle had a ton of energy and was honestly pretty hard to manage day-to-day with three young kids at home. He’s a great dog, but we were starting to wonder if we could make it work long term. We signed him up for the 3-week training program (and ended up doing 4), and the difference has been huge. We saw steady progress each week, and the Saturday sessions gave us the tools and confidence to keep things going at home. Now that he’s back, things feel way more manageable. He’s more focused, listens better, and just fits into our family so much more easily. Alex also made sure we knew what we were doing, not just the dog. He’s even checked in after the program, which we really appreciated. If you’re thinking about it, it’s 100% worth it. We’re really glad we did it and will definitely be back for refreshers. Sent my English Bulldog, and Bully to aggression training for 4 weeks. It was a very positive experience, he not only helped with the training, but made sure there diet and medications where continued during the train that was very important to me. Dogs are home and as we continue working with them he’s been very helpful on answering any questions we have and giving advice, and they will be going back in a few months to get advanced training as we kennel them why we are on vacation.
