We adopted a 3 year old Chocolate Lab last year and wanted a trainer both for us as well as Ella. She is very affectionate and had no extreme behavior issues but we were looking for a next level of obedience and to understand what to do and not do, and why, as she grew older. Ella took readily to Mike at Top Notch (not her everyday reaction to new people) and together we’ve learned a number of useful commands and habits. She is better than ever at going into to stores, etc, but with lots of new construction and many, many more families and dogs moving into our previously very quiet neighborhood, our long and frequent walks will be full of more distractions. We will soon resume seeing Mike to be certain that she will be able to calmly deal with the busier situation and increase her socialization temperament. We are confident that Mike will be successful and that Ella will enjoy being with him again.
