We cannot say enough good things about Michael at Top Notch K9! ❤️ We did the 4-week board and train program with Mike for our two Australian shepherds, and the difference has been incredible. Before training, they struggled with leash walking, reactivity toward other dogs, and several other behaviors that had become really challenging for us to manage. Mike completely turned them around! What stood out just as much as the results was how much he genuinely cared about our dogs. He was incredibly professional, patient, knowledgeable, and passionate about what he does. He was also so kind and easy to work with, which made the entire experience feel comfortable and positive. And he didn’t just send our dogs home and leave us to figure it out. Mike came to our home for several follow-up lessons to make sure we understood how to continue their training and, just as importantly, that we were all learning how to work together as a family. That extra support made such a huge difference. Our dogs are happier, more confident, and so much easier for us to handle, and we feel like we finally have the tools to continue building on everything they learned. I am so grateful for Mike! He's the absolute best. I sent my 1 yr old Belgian Mal / German Shepard / Husky mix to his board and train program for e-collar training. I've had her back home with me for 2 months and have been so pleased with the progress she made with Mike and beyond. She walks on a leash without pulling and her recall is pretty spot on, where she had none before. This was the first time I've ever used an e-collar with a dog and Mike has been really patient in not only training my pup, but also helping me learn what to do. He's super responsive and genuinely cares and connected with my pup - she gets sooo excited every time she sees him still. Thank you so much for all your time and help, Mike.

Michael trained me to train my dog Buddy, and I was very impressed with the training methods and the results. My dog is a dachshund mix and was already past a year old but Michael got me to learn the routines to drill with my dog in between lessons to maintain all the commands he learned it's been several months and Buddy's still the same well behaved dog he was when we finished our last lesson. I highly recommend his services.

Almost a miracle. Before training camp, could not control my pup, what so ever. After, we can walk around our property, to and from the house to the side yard, mailbox, all without a leash. He's still young, so training will be continued while he's still growing and learning who's the boss. Still gets extremely excited but now I'm able to command and he responds positively. Very happy with the results after working with this process and trainer.
