Top Dog Obedience School

In February of 2023 we brought home a new puppy and we knew that we were going to need helping training this very high energy pup. Having trained dogs off and on at Top Dog Obedience School in Flanders I knew that is where I wanted to take this puppy. Unlike many other dogs schools the instructors at Top Dog have owned and trained all size dogs from small chihuahua's to large golden retrievers. That extensive experience is plus because they understand that not every breed or size of dog can be trained exactly the same way. I cannot thank Anita enough for her wealth of information provided during her pet puppy training classes. She makes the sessions fun for both the person and the dog. She gave us clear instructions and each week we were building on what we learned the week before. I went from having a high energy puppy that was a challenge to train and live with to a managable situation. While we are now training in competiton obedience at Top Dog I plan to enter additional pet dog classes with Anita to work towards the Canine Good Citizen test. Thank you Betsy, Linda, and Anita for providing such a fun and positive place to come and train my dog. He loves going to school!
