We are a locally owned and operated company that has been taking care of and training dogs for over 20 years! We have 2 locations, one in Gilbert and one in Tempe. We sit on over 2 acres and our play yards are fenced and dogs love our playtimes and training sessions!

Yes. I believe they have 2 locations where there do boarding. Don't quote me on this but I think they charged me $42 per night for my dog.

I Bought Rook an $18,000 security dog from Shawn in October of 2024. The dog was well trained and I probably didn’t keep up well enough with continued training. There were some issues early on and Shawn took the dog back and did a great job of fixing the issues. I continued to have some problems and Shawn offered to buy the dog back on 2 separate occasions. In May the dog bit 2 kids as He was stealing the food from their hand. I called Shawn and said I can not keep the dog. He said he would resell him. Less than a month later he Zelled me $3000 as he told me he sold him at a discount. I definitely feel slightly taken advantage of. I had a friend who trains dogs offer me $7500. Had I know I was getting 1/6th of what I paid I would not have done that. I never signed any kind of contract and I do partially blame myself for it not being more clear. I would say Shawn is a good trainer and Rook was a great dog, just not when around kids with food in their hand .

These folks are my go to for our 2 GSD’s Hana and 8ball…moving from WA state out in the country we had quite a good few kennels , and for our working\herding dogs we need a place that knew the mindset of this working class with great care\supervision. They run a tight ship over there, and document playtime\toys\bedding etc etc to let you know they have the pups best interest…will keep on going back. We have been there several times, and constant praise for this place..keep it up top dog!

We couldn’t recommend Top Dog enough for helping out our huskies! Aurora is a very sweet, but very nervous, reactive pup and this weekend we were able to take her out to dinner with us at OHSO for the very first time (and as a bonus she had perfect manners). This never would’ve been possible without Jeremy and Top Dog for giving her the confidence she needed to be able to be in public!
