After seeing a doggie in my neighborhood with the best manners, i asked the owner if she had gotten him personal training. She said she had taken her dog to Top Dog. She said that her pup was a hard case to crack but after training there, he was one well-behaved pup. So my interest was up. I had given up hope that my pup would ever make friends and that I could be around other folks with doggies, so I reached out to Top Dog to see what they could do to help me. My pup had the basic commands but needed to know how to be nice to other dogs. I cannot tell you HOW MUCH my doggie has improved since being at TOP DOG. Angela is an answer to prayers (and there have been many of them. :)) She has taught me and my pup to settle down, how to be introduced to other dogs, and how to listen to his boss. I am forever grateful that Angela has allowed me to get my life back, so I can enjoy my dog as my best friend. THANK YOU TOP DOG ACADEMY. Oh, I forgot to mention that their facility is awesome, clean, and staff so friendly. AMazing.

I had made an appointment for my dog and I to come and do some training. I received a call that the trainer had hurt her back and when I tried calling back i got no response. I tried again a week later. A week after that I tried again. No answer, no response. Again, I’m sure they’re great, if they get back to you. I was very unpleased with the lack of keeping me in the loop of training especially for this long. Very unhappy so if anyone else knows training in the area let me know.

I was referred to Top Dog by some friends and can see the reason for the hype. We have a special needs dog (anxiety, resource guarding, dominance, aggression/fear aggression - you name it) whom we rescued and love dearly, but couldn't do it [training] on our own. We read everything, tried everything, nothing was working. Called Angela at Top Dog and we've only had two sessions and already see improvement. She's the dog whisperer of Pitt county, I swear. If you're having trouble with your pup, she's affordable and can even come to your home. We can't thank her enough for her help with our sweet girl!
