TN Border Collies

I'm following up on my last review for an (almost) 1-year update. I could not be more pleased with the dog my puppy turned into! She is by far the most intelligent dog I've ever owned and is more like being around a person than a dog. Once again, I highly recommend TN Border collies. I did want to note that there are some challenges that come with a dog that is so intelligent and high energy. I have to take her out to run and play fetch every day for at least 30 minutes to avoid her getting whiny and bored. An hour or more is actually preferred, given she has so much stamina. Make sure you have a yard or at least live an active lifestyle for lots of outside play EVERY DAY. I do not recommend these dogs for people who want a lap dog that lays around all day. Mine is super sweet, but she is more interested in playing or training then cuddling on the couch all day. I've already sent her to a board and train, and she got excellent reviews from the trainer. We're currently working on getting her into some dog frisbee competitions. She also loves going on hikes with me and being on the water (see photo). If you're looking for a good Border Collie breeder, I can't recommend Dan enough.

Other than the pup we got which is a year old now(he was incredibly socialized and had fantastic health when we first got him at 8weeks old) Dan Vickers is such an incredible person. These people are one of a kind and so rare to meet extremely nice people who know exactly what the ins and outs of the breed is. If you want one of the most amazing bordercollies our there, Dan and Myrna has been doing it over 50yrs and have great reputation for it.. boy no wonder why.

Dan and Myrna were fantastic we brought home a 7-1/2 week old healthy male puppy. We drove.Winston from Tennessee to his new home in Norton Massachusetts. The puppy did fantastic traveled in a crate in the backseat. We stopped every two hours with no issues. The puppy had no anxiety from being separated from his mother and family. . Everyone loves ours new family member.and asks where did we get him. I was also grateful to meet the Winston parents and champion grandfather. Dan has been generous with his time. Always answered the phone. With 57 years of experience makes them experts with Border Collies. Thank you very much for a wonderful experience and fantastic dog. Sincerely, Barry Eck

We brought Winnie home in August when she was six weeks old, she's 4 1/2 months old now, and has been an absolute joy every moment. She's the best dog! She's healthy, and so incredibly smart that I'm worried she's smarter than me. She goes to training class, sits, does down, spins, shakes hands, hi fives, stays and comes when you call her. We plan on doing agility, and herding in the future. I can't recommend TN Border Collie's more, Dan and Myrna were great. They're wonderful breeders and kind people with amazing dogs. Thanks so much for the most incredible Border Collie, we love her to pieces!
