As first time dog owners my sister and I immediately realized we could use some help with puppy training and the first response we got when inquiring locally was to use Tyler. Although our dog, Pope, is a squirrelly golden retriever puppy, he immediately responded to Tyler’s training and we knew WE were the weak link. We love the group training and recommend it to anyone! Pope immediately had respect for Tyler at TM Canine and we will continue to work with him moving forward. We are new to the dog world and it’s amazing to see how much he understands dog behavior and can anticipate their next move. Pope still has plenty of learning ahead of him but it’s nice that we are comfortable to go in public with him at one years old and we definitely need to give TM a shout out and credit for it. We’ve been training with Tyler for over a year, from private lessons to group classes, and he has made such a difference in our Rhodesian Ridgeback. She went from being nervous and unsure in public to becoming a much more confident dog. Tyler takes the time to understand each dog’s individual needs and makes training a welcoming, supportive experience for both dogs and their owners. Within one week of adopting Nellie, my border collie/pit bull mix, I knew I would need serious help from a professional dog trainer. She was extremely dog reactive and fearful of people to the point of behaving aggressively. A friend recommended Tyler at TM Canine Services, and he got Nellie into classes right away. She now sits very politely next to other dogs and their human, and loves going to Tyler's classes! It has been almost four years since we started our journey with TM Canine Services, and we still attend classes monthly, because Nellie absolutely loves Tyler and being around the other dogs.
