Tip Top K9 Dog Training The Woodlands

Mikal is a miracle worker! Sent off both of my boys as everyday tasks like a simple walk turned into a battle. With a new baby, it was impossible to take both pups with a stroller and their energy became too much to handle. But I am blown away by the progress they made in such a short timeframe! I am so relieved that I can take both dogs and a stroller out together and it actually be enjoyable instead of a daunting task. We are so excited to start attending group classes and keep up their learning!!

I adopted the sweetest Husky named Max just before Thanksgiving. It did not take me very long to confirm that Max was a little standoffish (to put nicely) with other dogs on our walks. The last thing I wanted was to have to rehome my dog, or worse put him down, because his temperament towards other dogs escalated to biting or fighting. After a deep dive (ADHD hyper fixation) on how best to help Max overcome this struggle, I realized this wasn't a party trick I could teach him on my own, I came across Tip Top K9. I very quickly signed up for my first lesson where I met Mikal. And let me tell you, within 10 minutes of an introduction lesson, Max was a totally different dog in front of Bear (see photo from our first intro, before even signing up for a full on program). I am Happy to report that training with Mikal (and Bear of course) has been MY PLEASURE. We got so much more than we bargained for with them. Not only is Max controlled and calmer around other dogs (see other photo, Max hanging out with his BEST FRIEND?!), he behaves beautifully in chaotic public places, and his manners at home have improved greatly. What we have learned with them didn't just stop with our lessons, we were given FLAWLESS guidance and the tools necessary to reinforce and even progress our training at home. With our private lessons now completed, we are looking forward to attending group classes....and hoping to see Bear again also so my daughter can fetch an ungodly amount of sticks for him chop into sawdust. TLDR; Mikal & Bear are awesome, very friendly, easy to work with, and the training not only works but exceeds expectations.
