Thurman's Place

there isn’t enough words, or even enough room in this review section for me to express how incredible thurmans place is, and the amazing work they do there. the way they go above and beyond with care, devotion, and the hard work they put into making sure these dogs are loved, taken care of, and the constant training and structure they provide for the dog not only on the training side, but the continued work in their training and the structure provided on the boarding side AFTER their training is unbelievable, and the entire boarding experience your dog will have is something you will not find anywhere else. getting my dog draco trained there was the greatest thing to happen to our every day life, and changed our life for the better and really helped with his reactivity, and build a confidence in him that he never had before. if it wasn’t for the work and help of thurmans place he wouldn’t be able to go on camping adventures and hikes every weekend without it being such a stressful and sometimes chaotic thing like it was before he went through their training program. the staff is incredible from top to bottom, and genuinely care for your dogs well being and experience as if it was their own dog. mrs. karen has built something extremely special with an incredible family and team at thurmans place!

Over six weeks, the team helped transform them into calm, confident, and reliable companions. The training itself was exceptional, but the communication stood out just as much. We received consistent updates, clear guidance, and practical tools that made it easy to reinforce everything at home. They genuinely set us up for long-term success. If you're looking for a program that delivers real results and supports you every step of the way, I can’t recommend Thurman’s Place highly enough.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this facility!!! Karen and all of her team are just incredible human beings!! It shows how much they love every single dog they work with and how much they honor the human/animal bond by the way they treat their clients! I got daily updates on how my sweet Ophelia was doing while at their facility!!! They are always so responsive and communicate excellently!! They worked with my Doberman who has seen multiple behaviorists and trainers and now after spending time with Thurman's Place, she can be in my house calmly and safely. Ophelia was unable to go on walks prior to them working with her, and now she gets excited when she sees her leash!! Every individual I met while visiting Thurman's Place would light up with joy when talking about the dogs and their work. Just a phenomenal business and even more phenomenal people. If I could give 100 stars, I would!!!
